Every so often when I'm teaching, I come across a Bible story I'm not familiar with. The story of Eutychus in Acts 20 is one such example. (Side note - I keep wanting to call him Eucalyptus...)

For those of you who don't know the story, Eutychus conks out when Paul is sharing with the disciples. Eutychus is "overcome by sleep" (been there my friend, been there...) and manages to fall out of third story window. The fall kills him but Paul heals him. (Check it out here.)

Eutychus isn't remembered for building an ark or saving a nation or defeating a giant. If he's known at all, it's for falling asleep during a sermon. Sweeeeeet. As a result, this is one of those Bible stories where finding a corresponding coloring or activity page is no easy task.

So here's some help.

Alana at A Big Bowl of Life was in the same boat, so she got smart and designed her own. Smart cookie, huh? I love that the kids can design their own faces. I'm excited to see what they come up with for Eutychus in Sunday School tomorrow.

Here's hoping you can keep your eyes open in church this week! ;-)
